Alycia Debnam-Carey has starred in the television series Fear the Walking Dead. At the age of 8, she started acting on stage in Sydney, Australia. Martha's New Coat, a short film in which she appeared, was her debut role. Her TV debut was on an episode of the TV show McLeod's Daughter. It was in The 100 that she had her first major role. Based on the novel series which had the same title The 100 was a adaptation of a show on TV. She portrayed the role of Commander Lexa who was a powerful leader of twelve clans. Her appearance on Fear the Walking Dead (a horror-drama television series) the show became more well-known. The show received a positive review by critics and has also received numerous nominations and awards. Jigsaw Girl, The Branch and other shorts also included her. In the found-footage catastrophe film Into the Storm she made her debut in a feature film. The movie was quite successful commercially, but it received mostly poor critiques.
